The truth of who you are, it's lying underneath. You're worried what they think you see ego has become the thief.
It's stolen your soul, and now you're feeling cold. You need these substances to withstand all of the pain you hold.
You like the comfort of this altered perception. But there's a better life one that does not need all these distractions.
I think it's time you dive into the infinite you, listen to your heart it tells you what you're supposed to do.
You've been conditioned to fit inside society, build a better life but don't become another puzzle piece.
No one understands, you want to express yourself. A temporary high will free your mind but may sacrifice your health.
Working day to day, you save weekends for fun. But what's the point in hating Monday cause you're treading the week to come.
Sometimes you must indulge, to help ease the friction. Be wary of dependency as humans we must know our addictions.
You shouldn't have to escape, or wear a smile that's fake. Chasing the money instead of happiness is the risk you take.

This problem, has gotten so bad but we're running. Why do we take the easy route we think that we're so cunning. People always wanting more I find it kind of funny. You'll only purchase worthlessness if you make too much money yea.
You can take take control, you can make a difference even though you feel small, fight for the peace because you know it calls. Flock like we're geese, cause when it rains it pours.
Cause we're the weak link on this planet, the house is up in flames and I don't see a lot of panic. Why give up on earth? I don't really understand it, the fire keeps on burning all we know is how to fan it yea.
There's room for change but we need purpose, if life's value is lost preserving earth will not seem worth it. Recognise the greed of making your life seem so perfect while the souls not satisfied you're only smiling on the surface yea.

Cause I've been, living my life with no worries. Not a lot of stress I find i'm never in a hurry. But time is running out the opportunities departing, we must reduce our footstep on this earth that we are marching yea.
The first step is realisation, you have to know yourself it can be done through meditation. To focus on the breath takes a lot of dedication, the problem is our minds processes too much information yea.
We forget we're animals, we act unskillfully while thinking that we're in control. Most of the population losing touch with their soul, so blind to the ego affecting their goals.
The options there but you must choose it, stop thinking for yourself or it's our children that will lose it. Climate change was us reality will sadly prove it. Live sustainably don't be the last to join the movement yea.
