I try my best to meditate daily. When I practice meditation I pay close attention to my breath, to sounds, to smells and to physical sensations. When I observe my mind getting carried away with thoughts or feelings I calmly bring the conscious mind back to the present moment (the breath, sounds, smells etc.). In meditation I have found that the only constant is change. The way we experience life through the mysteriousness of consciousness is impermanent, inconsistent and infinite. Life can bring much pain and joy but to get lost in these emotions will not benefit yourself and those around you. Stay grounded to the forever changing now and strive to be your greatest version in each moment :)
